Water like a stone (2021 - 2023)

This work is a meditation on time, scale, and perspective that directly refers to the history of photography and science. In this body of work I considered the anxiety of the developing climate emergency imbued in the landscape, in tandem with the natural cycles of the land. I am interested in using awe as a strategy to encourage connection, and as a method of considering our responsibilities and complicated feelings about climate and mortality.

This body of work was exhibited as Ouroboros at Anna Leonowens Gallery in February 2023.
